The flowers are felt cut with Tim Holtz tattered flowers and leaves. The covering is actually more of a "tape" like yarn which made this go really fast!

Fall wreath for Mom
I haven't made a wreath in a while so I decided to make one for my Mom to brighten up her room. Halloween would be way past by the time she got her package so I made a fall theme which would last her until Christmas!

Homemade noodles
Well this was sure an experiment. Homemade egg noodles. We added them to chicken noodle soup. They turned out REALLY FAT!! I kept trying to roll them thinner but they kept springing back. I was afraid the noodles would be like rubber bands from over working the dough so I let them be fat this time. However they did taste very yummy. The recipe I used suggested letting them dry for 4 hours however several other recipes did not require the drying time.

I do have a pasta machine however....I use it for FIMO!! So if I decide to make this a habit pasta machines are pretty reasonable in price. I guess I will see...

I used a metal dish drainer I had to hang the pasta.

Beaded Snowflakes
I made myself one of these last year and hung it on my window. I decided I better use up the rest of the wire foundations and made several more. Then....I had a great idea to add the crystal to the center. I like them much better now! Blue, purple or copper. My favorite is the blue.

New Card
This card is made with a couple of new punches that I really like. The first is the new SU butterfly and the second is a Martha edger punch. The inspiration for this card comes from www.dahliamemories.blogspot.com. She did an all white card with her card with a splash of color. Very elegant. I have to have color though....well because I have so much paper it is a shame not to use it!
The embossing folder is a new cuttlebug folder. The paper pack is retired from SU. The metal embellishments are from we are memory keepers. Below is the inside with the border of butterflies.

T is for tree rolodex swap
I admit I have a real passion for trees. I am always looking at the different trees in yards etc. My husband laughs when I say "I want a tree like that" because even though we live in the woods we already have quite a number of "not native" trees all around our house.
I finished my U for universe and V for vegies. Wow only 4 more to go. My two years seemed like quite a commitment at the start but it has flown by and I will be sorry to see it end...can we make up some more letters for the alphabet??
Sunny...very soft and calming!
Gretchen, also love the soft colors
Jerri did this rolodex, This is an old SU set which I used to use a lot. HMMM need to dig that out and play!
Deb...the paper on this is beautiful. I don't think it photographed well enough but there is a beautiful gold luster on the lantern.

Flower Cards
I always enjoy challenging myself to come up with a different interpretation of a card I see on line. Either my own color combo, a different stamp or a very loose interpretation like a card sketch. These 2 cards have a few elements of all those changes. You can see the original card here: http://www.sharonburkert.com/.a/6a00e553eebfa78834017d3bc80256970c-pi Sharon is a very talented stamper/artist and she is a very consistent source of inspiration! Thanks Sharon!!
