Stamp Camp Goodie Bag

Stamp Camp in Wenatchee is almost here.  I have my project done and I have started my goodie bags.  I thought this would be a cute bag and a fun play on words.  I think this is the final bag.....however I always tend to make further adjustments as I go.

I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and rubbed it with latte ink.  The trees are a border punch and the small campfire is from Penguin Pants.

Father's Day Card

My husband loves crows.  I never miss the opportunity to buy him something unusual with a crow on it or "crow themed" item.  I made this Father's Day card for him.

June Stampin Up at Sunny's House

I missed May so I was happy to get back to this fun group this month.  We did 3 cards and they were all quick and easy but looked like you really spent a lot of time on them.  I messed up on the embossing powder on the cupcake card so.....I won't post that one.  Maybe Sunny will give me a do-over!! lol
Love this embossing folder.  I have seen it all over the internet.  This was a fun card and everyone achieved a different effect depending on the angle and amount of ink they put on the folder.

This is our "Punch Card".  We do a card each month that features punches.  Which is excellent considering I have a bazillion of them!

Table Runner

This is a table runner I am working on for my new buffet.  Cloe is helping too.

Finished wine holder

Here is the finished product with before and after photos.  Hope she likes it!!

Before:  All sanded down

After:  I used some Tim Holtz buttons, and other old buttons I had on hand as well as some grungeboard pieces colored in silver then distressed.   The writing at the top is the Tim Holtz tape and I mod podged over the whole thing.

Card with homemade styrofoam fake flowersoft

Here is the card I made with the colored styrofoam I talked about earlier.  I saw a different version of this somewhere in my internet travels.  I always want to give credit where credit is due but I really don't know where I saw it.  Sorry.  I usually have to add some distressing and a bit of color.  The original version was just black and white.  Tomorrow when it is light I will take photos of the finished wine rack.  I really like how it turned out.

Spoiler Alert!! Card for Stamp Camp and Rhonna's Wine rack

I have been very busy working on several projects at once.  The card is my first draft of the project I am doing for the "Stamp Camp" that is coming up in Wenatchee on June 24th.  This is made with the SU 5 petal flower punch.  There are several different variations on this technique I found on the internet.

This next project is a wine rack I stole from my sister a year ago. (I gave her my table top wine rack so she could hold it hostage so I would finish this) LOL.  We are going to visit for her 50th birthday so I figured I should hustle and get it done....almost there!!

BEFORE:  I sanded this all down and removed the small gold tacks.

Close up of the sanding

I spray painted it all white

Then  I spray painted blue over the white

Next I sanded lightly to let some of the white show.  On the right is the sanded area.
Well now comes the fun part....adding elements to the sanded rack.  I owe this idea to Anali my daughter as she altered a bigger wine rack for me a couple of years ago.  We found a very similar one at a thrift store outing and she took it home and transformed it.  This rack is much smaller so not such a daunting task.

OK I admit it...sometimes I am cheap.

I have been looking at those tiny containers of flower soft and thinking I would like to try some but then I look at the price and I just can't buy any.  The main problem is that with my collecting compulsion I wouldn't stop at ONE!!  I would have to have every color.  So I remembered a trick I read somewhere on the internet about making your own flower soft-like product from styrofoam.  All you do is rub styrofoam balls together and collect the small particles that result.  After this you can dye it any color you desire with re-inkers.  I would let it dry over night as it did smudge a bit for me as I was too impatient and used it right away.  I am working on a card that I got the idea from splitcoast stampers and I will share that soon.

This is a combo of  green and cranberry that I am using for my card

I used 4 styrofoam balls I bought at the dollar store and I got all this.
