ATC calendar

Believe it or not the year is coming to an end.  That means its time for a new ATC calendar.  Every year my BFF (Sunny), my daughter, my husband and I make ATCs for a calendar.  I mount them on a 5 X 7 coordinating paper and we display them in an acrylic frame.  This year Chelsea ( BFF's daughter) joined in as well. So fun.  I was pleased with my November choice.  I used mica and some fiber from my stash. The stamp is an inkadinkado stamp.

I love mica. It is so organic.  I never know how it will split, cut or flake which makes it more wonderful!

Wine bottle label tags.

We needed some tags for our wine cellar.  We have accumulated a few bottles of wine and wanted to be able to read the tag at a glance and know what wine we were looking at.  I made these....70 of them.  First I cut them out on my cricut, stamped them, glittered them (I always love a bit of sparkle) and then laminated them so you could write on them with a dry erase pen and reuse them.  I made the image intentionally light so the writing would stand out.

My first try I just made them white....bbbbbooorrrring. I like this much better.

A close up of the image. This is a Penguin Pants set "Wine Country", Designed by my daughter.

On going button project

This is a button necklace I have been working on for a long time (not quite as long as my daughter's quilt). I am about ready to add the hardware.  Still tossing around some ideas for some steampunk looking embellishments or something....

These are all different sizes of covered buttons.  I started this in the summer (I guess you can tell by the color choices).

Another Rudolph Tag PPA 125

Still can't get away from the owl punch and the Rudolf tags.  I did this one differently and used more owl feet for the antlers instead of a stamp.

This is the back. When you hold it by the string on top it really is straight! LOL

Black Friday Project

No...I did not go shopping. I grouted the tile in my bathroom!

Tomorrow the bullnose and then we can start putting stuff back together. Can't wait.  The tub and shower will wait until after the holiday!

Cute Thanksgiving Turkey Name Cards

I saw this idea on Tim Holtz's blog and I had to make them. Sunny and I stayed up until midnight punching and scoring.  Very fun!
I didn't have all the different sized dies so we guessed.  Tim Holtz has a great video that makes holding these rosettes together sssooooo easy. Check it out! You will be glad you did!

Sea Turtle Painting

Now that I showed you the tile...here is my fabulous painting my daughter Anali did for me.  I based the color scheme on this painting.  I love, love, love it!. How lucky am I to have such a talented artist for a daughter?
This is a large painting, 30 X 20 inches.

Long weekend for Jeff

Well....my very ambitious spouse did a tremedous amount of work the last 3 days.  I think this is the last tile floor in the house (maybe).  After it sets up it is my turn to grout.  Don't ya love the blue bathtub?  Can't wait until that is gone!

November Stampin Up! at Sunny's house

I am somewhat delayed posting this as I was on vacation for a week.  We made some great fall cards.

This is my favorite.  How cute is the wreath!  I always mean to create these pumkins every fall....and this was my chance.

So....really....how many leaf sets does one person need?  Well, obviously I needed one more just because of this card.

A great gate fold card. We used the embossing folder upside down on the opposite site. Great idea.

One more tag.

Well...I guess I am not done with tags! LOL!!
I finally broke down and bought this stamp from SU.

I love this set from Penguin Pants.  I like putting the two phrases on top of one another.

Just a different color combo.

Final two tags for today.

Well....its almost 11 (really 10) and I should go to sleep now.  Here are two last tags for today! All the tags are made from scraps..LOVE to use scraps.

This is Vintage Christmas from CTMH. It is a very old set that I use time and again.

This is also from the Penguin Pants DaVinci set.

Rudolf Tags with the SU owl punch.

If you don't have a SU owl punch you definitely need one. This is yet another use for this versitile punch.

So you cut off the feet and hand draw the antlers. You can also use twigs from a stamp set. I cut the labels from a spellbinder set.

Watercolor Tags

Still making gift tags.  This is a stamp from the Penguin Pants DaVinci set.  I love this holly and the whole set for that matter.  I embossed the stamp then used my SU markers. I just got the new blender pen. It worked great on the small berries.  I tried something I saw on line..I added a few white pen details here and there and I like the effect.

Holiday Tags

My sister Rhonna had a request for gift tags.  I started with these. I love this little snowman from SU.  The snowflake tags are actually a navy color and not black....didn't photograph well.
The tag is cut from my Cricut and stamped with the cute snowman from SU.  I put the glitter embossing powder over them from SU as well.

See what I mean about the color.  You can kinda tell on a couple that it is navy and not black. Much better in person.

Loteria ATC

We are moving through the Loteria cards and are on El Diablito.  I couldn't help but think of Hot Stuff from way back....I won't say how far.  I made one then I was making my own and I changed it up a little.
He is a little devil isn't he?

Rolodex Swap "J is for JAVA"

This is the latest rolodex bunch.  It is always fun to create something to do with coffee!

This is my creation...can you believe it...I don't own ONE coffee cup stamp!

This is by Gretchen

Sunny

Deb

Jerri. I love this saying....does anyone know a latte stand that would be able to whip this up? LOL
So...just one coffee joke...you have probably heard it but I can't resist....What does latte mean?  It is French for "you paid too much for your coffee"!
